777x is going to have a longer than anticipated certification process.
why oh why do people put crap quality stuff in the air that risks people's lives to make more money?

I'm not saying it's right, because it isn't, but that's why they do it. Same reason automakers continue to churn out a vehicle they know is flawed, why drug companies continue to sell a drug they know isn't safe, etc, etc, etc.

Should these alleged substandard parts result in serious loss of life Boeing will be reduced to the level of a minor manufacturer. How can that Corporation be so naive? Can they not see that china has its own burgeoning aviation industry which would love to claim predominance from Boeing?
plane manufacturers need to worry more about people's' lives and safety than money.
presently we can not discount or overlook any such claim for any number or reasons: this could be factual and all the tut-tutters will vanish upon any mishap, without peril to their reputations. The Chinese manufacturers are not trustworthy, so boeing inspectors must be on the production lines pulling random checks, no matter the loss of face to the chinese.
