It's actually a basic principle of capitalism. When you introduce more options for the same product or service, you create competition. Competition forces providers of products or services to either offer something special that other providers do not or lower their prices in order to attract customers.

yes,competition is the basis of capitalism,but you will find a distinctive difference in the products and service ,rather than something special..most people are just trying to get from point a to point b ,and unless they are on a vacation trip, or doing discretionary travel,the best schedule and quickest flight time is the calling card..not the amenities...
