The history of supersonic air travel was impressive, but flawed. The shortcomings of it have led to the new technologies that are being brought about now. This new age of supersonic air travel will be better. Also, it will be allowed in more places through quiet supersonic technology. Improvements in efficiency and mitigated sonic booms will also have large impacts on sustainability.
