1949 Texan T6G crashes in Culpepper Virginia, injuring pilot & passenger

Hate, hate, hate to see this and best wishes for the crew. These are great flying airplanes, one of the many reasons so many are kept flying in civilian form. Once did my own version of the "perp walk" after riding a T-cart off the runway and into the weeds on a pretty gusty cross wind day. Still amazes how fast it happened in such a slow airplane. The old adage still applies, in a taildragger, the landing ain't assured till the tie downs are tight. Cheers.
