SAS flight in Russian spy plane near miss
According to a Sveriges Television report on Thursday, the incident occurred on March 3rd just 50 kilometres south of the Swedish city of Malmö - home to over 300,000 people. The plane was reportedly a Russian Ilyushin 20m military aircraft used for signals surveillance. The two aircraft are reported to have passed by each other a mere 90 metres apart. I guess since they missed and a warning was given, plus the crew saw it, no harm no foul. In that situation, an inch is as good as a mile. Are the Rusky's without TCAS or was SAS MEL?
Well we've seen the propensity for Russian pilots to ignore TCAS in the past.
I believe Russia has TCAS, but typical training and maintenance practices means it does not work.
This is unconscionable. There is absolutely no excuse to endanger the lives of a commercial airliner full of passengers, international airspace or not.
While this incident doesn't rise to the level of the implorable act against humanity, which was the shooting down of the Korean airliner; there is a gross disregard for human life nonetheless.
My guess is that in this incident, they were testing neighboring countries detection capabilities, and some disgusting human being wanted to see how close he could get to another plane for the thrill.

These days, we might as well just refer to the Russians as the Soviets!
Plz know that not all Russians support Putin and are glad of Crimea occupation. We are minority group, that's why Putin is still in Kremlin.
