Great video. I feel like this video really shows you a pilots eye view of what a normal approach on rwy 28L/R is suppose to look. Outstanding video capn hope to see more like this!
Oh, good, Karim! That was my intention. Thanks for the comment; I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I am a non aviator, a passenger category. How is landing in SFO different from landing on so many similar air fields, Saan Maarten , old Kai Tak , its successor Chek Lap Kok Airport (ref. google) , almost all air strips in the Caribbean , strips laid out on reclaimed sea and so on ? And in the days of instrumentation and virtual world how does it matter what is beneath you at a particular point of time ?
Hmm, apparently my answer to you got buried below. Here's my reply to your Q.:
Thank you for your reply, Er.A.K! You're right, it's not necessarily "different" than anywhere else. That said, landing at an unfamiliar airport in an unfamiliar plane can be challenging. Not necessarily saying that's a factor in 214, but it will be one issue the NTSB will explore.

THANK YOU for the THUMBS UP's! Apparently some didn't understand that it's NOT a Cockpit Vid from the actual crash. I never said it was, folks!
I am proud of this video and I hope you enjoy.
If you haven't, feel free to giver 'er a Thumbs Up if you like it!

Fairly perfect VDO. In time to come many years down the lane, some researchers will make much shorter simulated/animated VDO lasting under 20 sec and claim Ph.D. Ur VDO is longer . M I giving U ideas my friend ? ;-p
Thank you again, Er.A.K! U think I can snag a Ph.D. for this? I'm in, LOL! ;-)
