The Airbus A350 XWB, MSN 4, has completed water ingestion testing to demonstrate its ability to operate on wet runways. During the tests, which were performed at Istres, France, Airbus said MSN 4 traveled through troughs containing at least 22mm of water depth, at a variety of speeds, starting at 60kts and increasing to around 140kts.
