Mystery Surrounds FAA Order To Halt All West Coast Air Traffic After North Korean Missile Launch
On the afternoon of Monday, January 10, 2022, at around 2:30 PM PST, the Federal Aviation Administration issued a ground stop order to all planes, at least in the western United States. What is with the news media reporting all of this "hypersonic" crap. "Hypersonic missiles. Hypersonic glide vehicles", etc. This thing was moving at Mach 10. A plain-jane, run-of-the-mill ICBM speed is Mach 15 to Mach 20. Apparently somebody learned a new word recently! lol
like "systemic" :D
Or "racist" or "domestic terrorist" just because you don't agree with them politically.
That’s what I was thinking when I first saw hypersonic. The deadly part of hypersonic missiles is their maneuverability
Be afraid, Very afraid of anything the FAA does. They need to hire better personnel: like people who know about aviation.
