I do not understand why the remaining passengers did not assist the crew or if they did it was not reported. He really should have been removed from the aircraft on a stretcher not in handcuffs if dropping him off in Thule was not an alternative.

Every medication that should not be mixed with alcohol is always marked as such. If he drank, knowing his medication was marked as such, then throw the book at him. Obviously BA needs to stock stronger handcuffs on board. He doesn't look like a special forces operator, so regular handcuffs should have held him.

All I can say is, Thank God he did not do even MORE damage during that long flight ? and HOW on earth did he manage to get OUT of the Handcuffs ? I only wish that I had ben on that flight... I would have squashed him like a BUG and kept them there. So sad that flight crews have to deal with idiots like him ? Ban him from BA for ever, and throw the book at him in court too.

He may not have gotten out of the handcuffs, but perhaps he pulled them loose from whatever they handcuffed him to.
