What was it doing at TYS?
Jake Simpson - might have something to do with McGhee Tyson (KTYS) having a 9,000' runway and also this... the airport is the home of McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base, an air base for the 134th Air Refueling Wing (134 ARW) of the Tennessee Air National Guard. Otherwise, larger military aircraft often seek airports with longer runways for "touch and go" work.
Correct we get a wide variety of stuff Jake like T-38’s T-6’s P8’s and C-17’s!
