With such a thin wing, how is there enough lift generated to even begin to fly?

Dave S - I got my license while still in grade 12 (over half a decade ago) and understand basic aerodynamics. My rhetorical question was asked more as a salute to the designers and engineers responsible for such a sleek craft.
