Giving the "America first" mentality is harming anyone who isn't a 100% America company, they made a smart move moving away from US-made engines. God know when a president will just forbid you from buying the engines due to "national security reasons". Political issues aside, really hope someone can stand up to the Airbus dominance in the narrow body market, especially after Boeing shot themselves in the foot... Both Russian and Chinese haven't proven themselves yet, and Bombardier and Embraer were bought up by Boeing and Airbus...

Why not just install clip-on rows of UV lights? They can be hooked and suspended on over head bin handles? To me, for each axle, one row of UV lights hung above and one row of UV lights on the floor will have similar effect to that "game changer" You really don't need robotic arms... That said, UV lights won't really help with deeper grimes collected in aircraft carpet for years...

Looks like there are more holes on Boeing's slice of cheese... Kinda feels bad for Boeing... I don't 100% agree with Boeing's "it ain't broken, don't fix it" mentality... After all it is "broken" due to not adhering to latest safety regulations... On the other hand... I do agree sometimes the fire-proofing standards are a bit too vigilant... So...

Har Har, like those Chinese jets will sell like hot cakes... it ain't gonna happen. U.S. gov should make Boeing to get their own shit together so Chinese airlines (by extension Europeans) have no choice but buy US planes... No one will want your stuff when you stuff is s**t... *cough* 737 Max *cough cough*

The man almost sparked a war with Iran, I am not surprised he nukes China tomorrow. That said, it does look quite nice, although I would prefer a B-52 flyover over VC-25 any day... After all it is still just a 747, nowhere near as threatening as B-52...
