I'm a private pilot and my son in law flies four engine passenger jets. I'd prefer this forum to be primarily the aviation industry. A year or two ago I got into a discussion with someone on this site.
We had opposite views about an issue. After several back and forth discussions on said topic, I was very surprised to learn I was in discussion with Chuck Yeager. Keep this for the aviation industry. Oh yes, good riddance to CNN.
My wife who worked for AVRO was there when they rolled the Arrow out from the hanger. She couldn't understand what all the fuss was about. Dief the Chief gets all the blame but I am sure there are other bonifide reasons that the general public does not know about. The Arrow still is a beautiful plane and as Canadians we are justly proud.
I found the intro to the article deceptive inasmuch as in turning to the full article I realized it was not the young people that crashed, but a chase plane. I likely would not have turned to the full article if I had known that.
No drug problem in Singapore where I lived for several years. They don't mess around. Death penalty for possession. The warning is on visa applications in bold print. Malaysia is also quite strict so I wonder where it originated from.
