Not exactly. When Spaniards tried to escape from the city with the melted gold they took away from Moctezuma, they were discovered. In the ensuing battle, the mules and soldiers that were carrying the gold were sunken into the lake and drowned. The gold have never been found, and many people, including mexican presidents, tried to found that gold, by desecating the lake. That victory for the Aztecs is known as the "Sad Night" by the spaniards, that a year later returned to the city and conquered it.

That was a poker play by Truman. If Japan doesn't surrender, they didn't have another bomb to throw. It worked.

PIC had a cervical surgery, fortunately, spinal cord was intact, and in the recovery room is reported that sensivity was returning to his legs. Prior to the surgery he reported first to his mom, then he asked for status of his PAX and crew, an if is there any deceased. Then he was moved to the surgery room...

It happened to me once about 10 or 12 years ago, in MXA, with all PAX on board and the plane being pulled out the gate, when the pilot announced that we will be delayed by a weather radar failure and we need to be moved to a new position. The substitution of bad equipment take about 30 minutes, and nobody on the plane complain about it.

Worst thing is that former crews have denounced to Mexican authorities that this company was operating planes without radar, oxigen, life jackets, enough motor lubricant, with deflated tires and couterfit or used spare parts and lack of maintenance. Crews doesn't have proper resting periods and many other anomalies. This same plane already had an emergency landing in MMPR as the nose gear has stucked. Certain sources indicated that Global was fined with 1 million dollar... http://www.milenio.com/negocios/desde-2008-las-quejas-por-fallas-en-global-air http://www.milenio.com/negocios/volabamos-sin-salvavidas-ni-oxigeno-sobrecargo
