Flew in this plane during two periods in my life - late 1950s in central Pennsylania, and then early 1970s in the High Arctic. What an incredible workhorse. Curtiss Wright Aero knew how to build great aircraft. Once almost crashed in a snowstorm, but the plane was strong enough to withstand tree impact and land intact. Over and out.
