NEW STANDARD D-25 (N9125)
Looking over the Number One cylinder of Rob Lock's D-25 New Standard (N9125) with "Waldo Wright's Flying Service" (http://waldowrights.com) down Blue Grass Airport's (KLEX) Runway 22... The "bridge" is actually a mural depicting various horse farm scenes painted on part of the retaining wall at the Approach End of 22. The theme continues with fiberglass horses, painted to look a weathered bronze, on the knoll between the mural and security fence. Rob and the New Standard were visiting The Aviation Museum of Kentucky (http://www.aviationky.org/) over Memorial Day Weekend 2009.
