I've actually seen one in person, about 30 years ago. Pictures don't do justice as to how big the plane really is.

Got to hand it to the Ukrainians and the Russkies....they sure build them big!
Saw it from overhead on climb out from AMS, parked on apron near G/H Gates: dwarfed the 744 next to it! Quite amazing
