think this is bad -- the approach to San Diego KSAN is between high rise buildings and directly over the city. Given the proximity to the ocean, FOG is frequently present too. Truly one of the most hazardous airports in the world.

Andreas Nikolaus Lauda (aka Niki) was an Austrian Formula One driver, a three-time F1 World Drivers' Champion, winning in 1975, 1977 and 1984, and an aviation entrepreneur. He is the only driver in F1 history to have been champion for both Ferrari and McLaren
