Douglas DC-3 (N877MG)
In a scene that could be right out of 1941 a mechanic and crew chief work diligently on their DC-3 at the Historic Flight Foundation at Paine Field in Everette, Washington (please view in "full" for highest image quality)

Except that it's not actually a DC-3, but rather a C-47 Skytrain (or perhaps even a C-53 Skytrooper) which was the military derivation of the DC-3. The Astrodome behind the cockpit is the giveaway.
Spot on observation there Alan! For sure a C-47, not sure the C-53s has the astrodome since -53s we’re pretty much commercials DC-3s that were retrofitted for military service. I’d have to do some more research and get back to you
