Love those planes. I was lucky enough to finally fly in one years ago, from Philippines to Okinawa.
Brings back memories of the TV show "Sky King".
Actually, the Sky King series used 2 Cessnas. The shiny bare metal plane was the earliest, a Cessna T-50 Bobcat. Later on a Cessna 310B was used until the series ended. I never missed a show. Check it out on Wikipedia. Sadly, Kirby Grant, who played Sky King passed away in Brevard County, in 1985 as a result of an auto accident while on his way to watch a Shuttle launch.
