I remember being able to get in on of these giants at an air show in Lexington, KY about 35 years ago. Don't know how they got it in the air off a 7,000 ft. runway.

@Jim Powell: The C-5 is such an amazing aircraft. Being able to takeoff from a distance like that, given its size, is just incredible.
