@dingo65 - yes, the LF tail code confirms it is a Luke AFB assigned F-35A which, for some reason, has incorrectly labelled here as a Navy C-model.

I don't know why it's labeled as a (Navy) C model. The form wouldn't allow me to enter "F-35A", just "F-35". For some reason, it changed to "F-35C" on the post. I'm a former AF pilot. so I'd like to give AF credit where credit is due.

gpvisser - I believe the answer is in the ICAO codes that FA uses for a/c type indexing. The F-35A and the F-35C both are assigned an ICAO code of "F35" . FA's software does not distinguish and evidently defaults to the F-35C! Only the F-35B differs in using an ICAO code of "VF35".
