TAN SON NHUT AIR BASE, SAIGON, VIETNAM 1966. I believe this is an RB-57 and the sign said 'Fuel tank repair stay out.' I don't recall the 57's being based there when I was (1966)?

Another fine "5" photo, Sam, and ... a somewhat rare capture. I read your comment above and went digging for a bit of info. During the mid-60s, there were indeed some of these at Tan Son Nhut, primarily used for high altitude night recon sorties. And, it is a bit appropriate that your snap here shows this one undergoing fuel tank repair. Apparently, the 57s suffered fuel problems that led to an unusually high number of engine failures in flight. The cause was finally pinpointed and corrected, but another concern eventually surfaced .... fatigue cracks in the wings. Overall, a "troubled" career "record."
Once again, TY for sharing another great pic, Sam.
