This is a photo of an O-2A which is a variant of the C337 SkyMaster (GA Acft). The C336 SkyMaster has fixed landing gear. The O-2A/B variants had the aft seats removed and a large avionics equipment rack was installed with radios capable of 'talking' with all forces [USA, USN, USAF, ARVN, etc] that might be in the battle area [primarily used in Viet Nam]. Also the O-2 has (2) Pylons on each wing for light stores [such as 2.75" rockets]... although only 1-pylon was usually installed due to performance issues.
