Greg... thanks for sharing this excellent photo of Suzy, NL49FG... I've been waiting to see her again on Flight Aware!

Suzy formerly made her home at Lafayette Regional Airport, KLFT, where she was lovingly and painstakingly restored to flying condition by her then owner, John Fallis, and with the assistance of his good friend, Bill Goodwin... along with others also helping.

Hence, the FG suffix found in her FAA registration number!

Hey, thanks, Cliff! I was going through my pics from the warbird roundup last month and realized I had missed posting any of Suzy. So, there you go. I really appreciate the extra info in the link yon provided. That is all new to me and very interesting. It was very cool to see (on the ground and in the air) and hear all the warbirds that day, especially five P-40s! Thanks, again!

I was fortunate to catch a glimpse of Suzy from time to time during the lengthy span of restoration endeavors at Lafayette Regional Airport on this aircraft. The work being done by those directly involved was truly amazing to me.
