Just lovely picture
That is one beautiful photo
That's certainly a pretty pic, Richard! Well done! For the record, though, the FFA N number for the Collings Foundation's Nine-O-Nine was N93012. The number you see on the tail represents the original aircraft's serial number which was: 42-31909. The CF's Nine-O-Nine is not the original. It is only painted to represent the original Nine-O-Nine. See the below information from Joe Baugher regarding this aircraft:
"Douglas/Long Beach B-17G-85-DL Fortress, 44-83575 converted to TB-17H and then to SB-17G. Served as static test target for nuclear tests in Nevada. Sold on civilian market as N93012. Served as borate bomber for 20 years. Sold in January 1986 to Bob Collings and restored by Tom Reilly Vintage Aircraft. Damaged in landing accident Aug 23, 1987 at Beaver County Airport but repaired. Now owned and flown by Collings Children's Trust Fund painted as B-17G-30-BO 42-31909 "Nine-O-Nine"."

Beautiful aircraft, beautiful shot. Thanks for sharing this!
This plane crashed Oct.2,2019, and was totally destroyed with loss of 7 lives near Hartford, Conn.
Beautiful photo, sad losses.
That is so screensaver worthy! Stunning!
