If that was the time when the Phantoms came over for the airshow (and as I recall that might have been the only time they were there) then I was there that day. I have very fond memories of that airshow. God those F4s were noisy :)

Hi Waggers 1, you're right on. The Mirages behind the F4 had the oil containers for the smoke sitting beside the aircraft. I cropped the photo and the cans are not clear.

Ha. I didn't even notice the Mirages. Just saw the F4s and MB326s.....that takes me way back
