SUPERMARINE Spitfire (LIL294) - Spitfire Mk IX Restoration 442 Sqn. Originaly flown by RCAF over Normandy France June 6 1944 #19 Sqn. Duxford England was the first to receive thier Spitfires in Aug 1938 At beginning of 2nd World War Sept 3 1939 Great Briton had 310 Spitfires alocated to 9 Sqns.
