Everything about this is wrong. lol USMC KC-130J, s/n 167984

@Ron Wroblewski, thanks for pointing out my dyslexic entry 7894 versus the correct 7984. I fixed what I could! Corrected the dyslexic reg #, but did not see USMC for an operator. The initial info I plugged in showing it as US Navy was because that is what it showed on FR24, 08-7984, and US Navy. I don't see USMC as an option for "operator" below.

Look at your original photo and zoom in right above the main landing gear. Also, USN does not own/operate and J models, technically.

@Ron Wroblewski - ah! I see it now! Thanks bud! There was such low/poor light that day, and I don't have the best Eyesite to begin with, and these new low visibility markings don't make it any easier to read. Thanks for your input!

Another way to tell that this is a Marine Corps bird is the extra pods on the wings. You can see the fairing for the drogue when reeled in on the bottom rear of the pod. I remember when the Sky Pigs were painted gloss white and gull grey.
