@peter junk. Thank You. This was shot with a Nikon D-810 (bought used) and Sigma 60-600 lens (bought on sale and used credit card cash back money which I let build up for like three years) so it was very affordable.

Well done.

Each pilot is looking at the other plane thinking , "Damn, I wish I could fly that one!".

Two of my favorite aircraft! LOL, that P-51 driver is wondering if he should put in a notch of flaps to stay behind that A-10, LOL. But if I was a ground pounder, give me that Warthog!!

Just think of the bomber air crews in WWII and ground troups in Iraq that owe their lives to these 2 planes/pilots!

Hope you enjoyed the Total solar Eclipse in Indy or thereabouts. I got a superb view from North of Dayton.

I was surprised by the difference in size, but the A-10 is approx 20 ft longer than the P-51.

@KenKemper ~ Yeah bud, just south of Indy. Great View of the Eclipse sitting in my backyard! Dead center in the path of totality with clear skie's! Amazing experience. You going to the DAY airshow? I will be out there (Hopefully)!

Shows how big the Warthog is, as at first glance it looked like it was closer than the Mustang. Great phpto!
