There are not many worse looking things, than a professional operation that will not keep their fine, outstanding equipment in optimal condition. If a business will not wash it's outside, do you think they are keeping the deep inside, way out of sight, difficult to get to parts up to date? As for the good ole boys I have worked for, here and there, for short periods, over the years, if they don't wash it, they don't fix it either. Have you ever heard 'em say, "Cai'nt see it from my house"?
