Boeing C-135FR Stratotanker (60-0334)
An Alaska Air National Guard KC-135R displaying the "Tanana" tail flash, one of the nine different tail flashes being worn by the AK ANG's 168th Wing to honor nine interior communities in Alaska, accelerates down runway 34L during its "wrong-way" departure from KRNO yesterday (4 Aug 2022).

Runways 16R and 16L were the active runways; however, due to several circumstances (weight, thunderstorm approaching from the south, etc.) the pilots requested and were granted a departure to the north on 34L.
