Runways 16R and 16L were the active runways; however, due to several circumstances (weight, thunderstorm approaching from the south, etc.) the pilots requested and were granted a departure to the north on 34L.

Nice Photo Gary.............

4 or 5 KC-135's were aloft simultaneously over WI this week refueling Marine & Air Force aircraft during the Northern Lightning 2 Exercise out of Volk Filed this week and into next week.
