McDonnell Douglas DC-10 —
A Fed Ex tri-holer (DC-10) is positioning to depart on 16R as dawn light begins to illuminate an overcast sky.

This one was departing to fly the return leg of a daily morning KMEM-KRNO-KMEM round-trip run.
Gary, I sent you an email. Cheers. Nice shot!
I see your hiking trail G-man - Oh,,and a great tail end shot of the -10 Heavy.!! 5xstars!
Great catch Gary especially with the DC10's going away!
I remember when these guys and the L-1011s were everywhere and now I only see them here. I guess the TriStars are gone completely. Great shot thanks for posting Gary.
Did check airman/instructor work on the 10 for AAL. Good old machine. Good old days.
Such a majestic machine. It was an honor to maintain.
Great shot of the back-side of this FE DC-10-10.
As a 14 year-old, the National Airlines DC-10-10 was the first jumbo I flew on with lawn-mowing money.
A friend of mine that flew the FE 10s calls it "THE BEAST" because of its approach to landing flight characteristics.
