Boeing 737-700 (N947WN) - Southwests N947WN, the B737 fleetbird displaying the special Shark Week "Bull Shark" nose art design, is captured as it covers the final five thousand feet of its short final to Reno Tahoe Internationals 16R earlier today. N947WN was arriving from KLAX when this pic was clicked at ten minutes before straight-up high noon. br /At this moment, as I post this snap into my FA photo gallery folder, N947WN is again en route to RNO for the second time in eight hours, but this time it is coming to Reno from Las V (KLAS).br /*** R.J. >>> I was very surprised early last evening when I ran a quick "tracking check" of N947WN. Because it was the last one I needed in order to have captures of all five, I was tracking it frequently. And the instant I ran my check on it at dinnertime via FA, todays KLAX-KRNO flight popped right up -- even tho the flight was not going to take place for another 20 hours. R.J., I dont know exactly HOW you made it happen, but I definitely know you caused that "very-far-in-advance notification" to appear on my computer the instant I ran that tracking check. My catch of N947WN with this "Bull Shark" design means I have now caught all five of the SWA Shark Week nose art aircraft; N470WN - "Great White," N705SW - "Hammerhead," N961WN - "Mako," N553WN - "Tiger," and this one. Southwest will be removing all five of the Shark Week designs in less than three weeks (at the end of this month), but it was rather fun tracking them in order to catch them all, and I'm wondering what new idea they will come up with next year.

** Special Note to R.J. >>> I don't know exactly HOW you made it happen, but I definitely know you caused that "very-far-in-advance notification" to appear on my computer the instant I ran that tracking check yesterday.
