North American F-86 Sabre (FU976)
F-86 Sabrejet in downtown Greenville SC's historic Cleveland Park. Memorial for native Greenvillian USAF Major Rudolph Anderson Jr. This beauty has been here as long as I can remember (I'm 46) and Ive never photographed it until today. Please see photo of the memorial stone tagged with the same tail #

I believe I was shown this plane by my brother, Tom, back in 1968ish on a trip to Greenville, SC. It was a fairly new memorial to Maj. Anderson then.
