Why didn’t they buy a Chinook?
Bob, the AW139 isn't close to the size of a Chinook...A modified AW139 max gross weight is 13,600 versus the Chinook at 50,000 lbs. It's just another day in the Chinook office slingloading the a/c.
That state has a nice budget for their aviation program, wow!
