I'm always intrigued as to how all that undercarriage of modern fighter jets can be accommodated in that small aluminium tube without impacting on the airflow to the engine. It must be one of the major challenges in modern fighter design. (Sorry about the spelling of "aluminium"; I'm an Aussie). Still, it works, somehow!
