Fantastic Mad Dog image! This aircraft served American Airlines very well.
The DC9 and its variants, served so many airlines. I remember seeing them all lined up at many airports. Seeing plane after plane lined up at DTW. Seeing many of the variants too. Many of my memories of flying as a kid were in the DC9, and 727.
Hard to believe they are almost all gone from the major carriers.
