This C-119 is owned by Brooks Fuel, Inc., Fairbanks, Alaska.
Joe Baugher's published information reveals the following regarding this aircraft, which was USAF s/n 53-8073...
"53-8069/8156, Kaiser-Fraser C-119G Flying Boxcar, MSN 172/259".
"8073 (MSN 176) converted to C-119L. To MASDC as CJ471 Sep 27, 1975. Sold to Starbird Inc., Nov 1978, registered as N9027K Jan 1981. Repossessed Aug84 by Alaska Commercial Fishing & Agriculture Bank and registered to them Feb 1985. To Northern Pacific Transport Dec 1985; Leased to International Seafoods Jun 1986; leased to Arndt Brothers Aug 1986; to Alaska Aircraft Leasing Apr 1987. Repossessed by First National Bank of Anchorage Aug 1992. To Classic Air Transport Aug 1993; to Brooks Fuel Sep 1996. Current as N9027K registered to Brooks Fuel Inc., 18May 18, 2012."
The FAA registration for this aircraft expired on 31 May, 2015, according to the FAA registry.
