IMX573 —
The 101st Vulcan produced, delivered in March 1963. Donated by the RAF to the Strategic Air and Space Museum near Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, in 1982 as a token of the links between the RAF and the US Strategic Air Command, based at Offutt.
Comments
I'm not sure what happened with the tail number. Obviously, it's XM573, not IMX573.
One of the best looking planes IMHO.
I've since met the daughter of the original test pilot for the Vulcans. She tells some amazing stories.
