N199SM - 1991 AEROSPATIALE. Model: AS 365 N2 DAUPHIN
ICAO lists 35 different make/model for the AS65 type designator, including both the described Aérospatiale SA-365N Dauphin 2 and the Vought SA-366 Panther 800. Not sure why the FA database chooses the latter to represent all 35 (last in alphabetical order, perhaps?), but that's the way it is.
Had the privilege of riding with this group 3 times many years ago. The professionalism and compassion for the patients was commendable. It's a tough job as all your patients are critical care and you have limited resources to use while transporting.
