On this day, I took my Dad to the airport to watch the planes take off and land. He suffers from advanced dementia but in his younger days, he was a pilot. He especially enjoyed looking at this plane and when we got home, he got a picture out of the China cabinet of him stand next to a similar red and white plane. We were all amazed! We enjoyed our outing at the Georgetown Municipal Airport.
Kim, you obviously love and care for your Father. He is so fortunate to have a child by his side that cares so much and spends time with him. Even through the fog of dementia you helped him remember something he cherished. It must have been a Grand Day indeed, at Georgetown Muni.
