Boeing 787-8 (ET-ASI) - ET502 on very short finals for runway 24R at YYZ just after sunrise on a frosty January morning. As Addis Ababa is a hot and high airport these birds need a technical stop in Ireland before completing the journey to Toronto. Ethiopian have indicated that they now possess aircraft for which the tech stop is no longer necessary… we have seen their B789 twice and we hope and pray the spotter gods reward us with an A350 or two!!
