Boeing B-29 Superfortress —
This was another take off crash. Usually it was the temperamental Pratt & Whitney engines overheating and losing power. Lost more B29s like this than from enemy action.

The engines on B-29's were Wright R 3350"s
Four 2,200-horsepower Wright Duplex Cyclone engines
