From the Herald:"A Republic Airlines de Havilland Dash 8-400 on behalf of United, registration N336NG performing flight YX-4882/UA-4882 from Raleigh/Durham,NC to Newark,NJ (USA) with 75 people on board, was enroute at 11,000 feet about 20nm southwest of Philadelphia,PA, when the crew reported the right hand engine (PW150) on fire, shut down the engine, activated the engine fire suppression system and diverted to Philadelphia. The aircraft landed safely on Philadelphia's runway 27L, stopped on the runway and was evacuated.
The airport reported the #2 engine was on fire, all passengers evacuated, the fire was extinguished. All occupants are safe. One passenger with a known heart condition was taken to a hospital."
