From a catering standpoint 727 was easy airplane To cater. Straight in approach for the first class cabin never any passing your boarding problems. Mostly always carriers or trolleys. Oven racks right in the oven cavity for hot meals. Rear galley approach was a little tricky going along the wingtip but with solid training a highlift catering truck could make it with no problem and never made contact with the airplane. Some airlines insisted on use of an engine plug others did not. Same as first class carriers or trolleys ice and milk and ice bins. Rear ventricle stairs were easy for hot shops or extra catering supplies ice or sodas. Miss that airplane a lot.

Wondering if Emirates really fills up these A380 aircraft. Hard for me to believe they are all full all of the time.

I remembered white out conditions, but lots more involved. The NZ pilot had never made the trip before. First and last trip. Really bad. Seems like an experienced should have gone too.

I went to the Wikipedia review of the NZ DC-10-30 mishap and it sounds horrible. The DC-10 was dammed by everyone after the Antarctica crash. Qantas has made a wise choice.

At 750K lots of people could write a check for that and never need another damm boarding pass! Few chairs and a sofa, couple of lamps and a card table and the days over. American had great galleys and lots of carts and ovens. Stock up on choice of hot grilled cheese or pimento cheese snacks. No more TSA or sassy seat mates. Long delays or flow control! American has plenty of those MD-80s, take your pick and never buy another ticket! Carry On as much as you want!

Words cant express my feelings right now for that airline employee. Do not know who is dumber, it employee or the two idiots for asking for special treatment. So, I will just shut up. I hope the employee got fined, big!

What is Fly by Wire?

Nice aircraft. I saw the word composite so I suppose the is the answer to the 787 Dreamliner. I really would not know the difference as I do not fly enough. I was shocked when, years ago, I saw a 727-200 power back! I was an airline cater for 40 years and stood in awe as an Eastern plane powered back. Sure was glad I had head sets on!

Has any US airline considered this equipment? I know DL flies to Johannesburg, but I suspect they stop somewhere in Europe I have had friends that really enjoyed the flights on the A380. I have enjoyed flights on a 777, except Air France as the seats in YC were painfully close to each other.
