While I can see the worry of the slippery slope, my read of the article leads me to believe that the bans were based on actual behavior on flights, not any behavior at other times.
I don't have a problem with banning folks "protesting" on a flight. There is a time and place for protests, chants, etc. It'd certainly NOT appropriate on a flight.
So IMHO, this is not the start of that slope....
Follow the rules of the airline and flight crew, or don't fly with us...
5) do the test for hours as masks become saturated with virus and droplets that are evaporating and getting smaller
6) tray tables up and down with laptops
I would think a simple thing like tray-tables down with laptops and their associated fans would significantly change the airflow in a cabin, not to mention other bodies actually moving around and also creating heated air spaces. For that matter, was the simulated breathing done with 98.7 degree air, or just room temp?
If this was a "Vaccine Test", it would never be approved...
AA claims she continued to wear/display it, she doesn't seem to directly contradict this statement, only saying she took it off when asked. How many cycles of don mask, be asked to remove, remove mask, and repeat are required until she get her video, whose timing is determined by her, of being removed while not wearing it.
I wish there was another video of this event I could find...
I taught my kids that you have to pay attention to all the adjectives in such a statement. The more qualifiers, the less "profound" the statement...
Died -vs- Severely Injured
Commercial -vs- All
Passenger -vs- Cargo (or All)
Jet -vs- Prop, Turboprop....
Crash -vs- any other mishap.
Well you get the point... to get to their statistic you obviously needed ALL those words.
