Yes this is Doc and it flies out of Wichita Kansas where it was restored. The only other B-29 flying in flying status is FIFI out of Texas. Soon Doc will have its own hangar and facility at Eisenhower National Airport in Wichita, KS.

I worked on the SOFIA program which created this aircraft. It is in Germany because that is where the telescope mirrors were manufactured , it may be going through refurbishing.
