From Ft. Dix/McGuire to Kuwait in a C-17 in nylon jump seats. I was lucky as a Field Grade got to sit near the front (warmer) of the aircraft. We got a box lunch and I had a lovely view of the comfort pallet. Did the flight in full battle rattle including ballistic vest. Got off the aircraft in Rein Main for 20 minute because they wouldn’t refuel with us on board.

Only time I had security off the side of the aircraft was coming out of Kuwait City on 9/11/2002. We were on board 2 charter L1011 rotating home. Humble off each wing with 50 cal locked and loaded for taxi and take off run. USAF security force length of field. Not sure we want a security vehicle rolling with every aircraft off every field.

Bought into this company on 9/11 and have seen stock price tumble, though I still hold it. Company was tightly family controlled when I bought it and put a lot into Ski-Doo and Sea-doo. Has now diversified into rail. CRJ are my choice over E 145 but with a backlog of 36 aircraft can’t see justification s a shareholder to stay in the business

Flew on a C17 and Globemaster III from Dix/McGuire to Kuwait City, 3rd seat from the door with the "comfort pallet in front of me. Nice comfortable nylon web seating plenty of leg room and wearing my LBE and 9mm

I always check bags, only carryon I ever take is my computer or in extreme cases is my 15 x 10 x 5 camera case which goes under the seat by my feet. I hate to see the roller carry ons come on board, Recently took 2 flight on E 145, I grabbed for the upgrade for the exit rows. I prefer to pay for comfort that to spend several hours cramped and miserable. Granted I am now at a point in life that comfort is important but I have also spent hours in nylon web seats enroute to deployments.

Years ago I was drilling at a AFB that housed a KC135 unit. One morning we were told to report to a building on the opposite side of the base from our usual building. Several of us headed the wrong direction and were heading in the direction of a hanger. We did meet some large APs with M-16s who politely told us to turn around, this was before 9/11 and we were all dressed in BDU's and had valid ID's and base passes.

Just flew on the PSA bird from ALB to CLT. Was talking to the crew to see what else was on the way, nothing further back then Alleghany on the US Air side,. I was sort of hoping for a black and gold Mohawk

Many years ago with 320th EVAC hospital on hill overlooking KSWF I witnessed AF! landing with President Regean, who was heading to West Point. Very impressive, even more so then the C5A that were co-located with us that we saw all the time.

Used to work with Air Guard Pilot with the 109th NYANG out of Schenectady NY flew C130's and were the go to people for support of Antartica. At the time they were the only unit certified to fly to the Pole
