提交時間:

One airline wants to cure to these traveling ailments: Air New Zealand recently announced the world's first lie-flat "pods" for economy class airplanes, set to debut in 2024. The concept, called "Skynest," has been in research and development for five years and will likely feature two rows of three stacked… (www.cnbc.com) 更多...

It's not economy if you pay extra... it's "something else." The sleepers may RESIDE in economy, but it won't be economy prices.

Agreed. Attaching "economy" to the story is just to get more attention.

I think they're trying to say there is an option for economy flyers to get a bed. Which is what it says. IT doesn't say for the same same price you can get a bed.
The mile high club will be expanding soon.

I don't need to lie down. Just make the seating more comfortable with a little extra room instead of a seat the size of a child's school desk and no leg room.

IT's an addition. You have a regular economy seat and sign up for x-hours of a bed. Bed is somewhere else than your seat.

I much prefer my turbulence bounces to be in the Direction my spine is already going. Can you imagine being bodily lifted up and then slammed back into the bed when undergoing turbulence? It would be the worst amusement park ride ever.

Maybe it would be like being on trains where you could get a sleeper in the old days. Interesting concept. I would think it would be Coach Plus.

The trains I've seen you had to fold down the top bunk in the same cabin. The plane thing is a seperate area with beds you have to pay extra for.
